Whether it's a screenshot, chat log, or a video, make sure that you have valid evidence when reporting a player. Staff cannot do much without some kind of proof.
If you're not sure someone is hacking/inventory editing, a good tool to use is our Inventory Viewer, it displays the inventory of all current players and can be useful for taking screenshots.
In-Game Reporting
If your are online and you spot a player hacking/spamming/flaming/breaking a rule that can't be proven with tile history, but there are no staff members available, take a screenshot/some sort of visual evidence or retrieve logs of the situation and the occurrence time. In these situations, the "/report" command is useless as there won't be any evidence that it happened. Using the command to report a player for damage/health/teleport hacks does not necessarily mean they were, without any proof it's just your word against theirs.
However, if you see a grief and there are no staff members currently in-game, it is better to use the "/report" command rather than filing a report on the forums. When you "/report", staff can easily teleport to the reported location and can view the history of any placed/removed tile on the map, so you don't even need the name of the griefer. Reporting a grief on the forums makes more work for everyone, so for grief related problems, use "/report" in-game.
